The bar's architecture features a modest level of maritime reference, as well as paying attention to Swansea’s heritage as an industrial hinterland of global significance. The name, 'Swigg' mimics the name of a buoy, in the sea of Swansea Bay called 'South West Inner Green Grounds'.

The Swigg offers something truly different and unique to the people of Swansea in it’s historic Maritime Quarter. They are open for breakfast and remain open throughout the day and into the evening.
